If you’re looking to treat fine lines, wrinkles, sun damage, uneven complexion or texture, the Venus Versa™ TriBella treatment is the superhero you didn’t know you needed. TriBella™ is highly effective and non-invasive, utilising three different treatment modalities to simultaneously improve skin tone, texture and tightness.
Each session takes around 90 minutes, with minimal downtime afterwards.
The treatment is a 3-1 one, so there are three unique handpieces.
IPL stands for intense pulsed light, which essentially delivers direct bursts of light energy into the target areas of the skin. The light is absorbed by specific chromophores. Hemoglobin is targeted for vascular lesions, and melanin for pigmented lesions. The result is a notable difference in sun spots and redness.
This uses Multi-Polar Radio Frequency and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields. That sounds super technical, and it is, but to simplify, the applicator will use radiowaves to deliver heat to multiple tissue depths beneath the skin. The heat will promote and increase the production of collagen and elastin, firming the skin and targeting signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles.
This applicator has tiny electrode pins that penetrate the skin’s surface to deliver energy waves to the deeper layers of the skin. This creates tiny little micro-wounds without damaging the surrounding epidermis. As the wounds heal, collagen and elastin production is naturally stimulated, improving the texture of the skin.
The three-in-one approach ensures that all aspects of skin rejuvenation are addressed, resulting in significant improvements in the overall appearance of the skin. It’s also non-invasive, so can be a great alternative to cosmetic injectables. Tribella is suitable for just about any type of skin, minus the super sensitive.
It all depends on what you were hoping to achieve with the treatment initially. The treatment is customisable, so your dermal therapist will customise the treatment specifically for you. But in general, TriBella™ produces the following results;
The procedure does stimulate the skin, and so there will be some mild discomfort. The applicators have cooling features built in to minimise the discomfort. Light numbing cream can also be applied to further minimise any discomfort. Downtime is red and potentially flaking skin for a few days, with some patients experiencing minor swelling.
It’s also a good idea to get maintenance treatments every 6-12 months, to keep your skin looking amazing. Commitment over time to these dermatology-grade treatments means you continue to produce collagen, which thickens and tightens your skin.
It’s important that your therapist understands your skin inside and out, so they can tailor and deliver the best plan for you and your skin goals. Port Medical Aesthetics is home to a team of dermal therapists highly trained in the use of TriBella™.
