PDO lifting threads are a great non surgical facial rejuvenation procedure designed to gently elevate and support sagging skin tissue and redefine facial contours with shorter downtime compared to traditional facelift surgery. Thread lifts are especially beneficial for lifting the lower face for example cheeks, jowls, laxity under the chin and nasolabial folds.
The threads that are inserted into the skin tissues contain tiny barbs or cogs that help to lift and reposition soft skin tissue. 1. What is the downtime?
The area will feel tender and will be visibly swollen for 5-7 days following treatment. You may also have some bruising also.

3. Does it hurt?
The area is well numbed prior to treatment. This is not a painful procedure at all however the patient will feel a pulling sensation during and after the procedure which may feel uncomfortable.
